What's with the name?

A well-trained Border Collie rounds up everything in the paddock and then herds it in the right direction.  The WebCollie evaluation does just that with your website: a quick, snap at the heels of your website to bring it into line with your business aims and objectives.

"The WebCollie evaluation was absolutely spot on. It provided us with a very valuable tool to improve our site."

How we conduct a WebCollie evaluation

After a short telephone discussion with you about your website, we analyse your website the seven critical areas you must get right:

  • Look and feel: does the screen layout, font and colour schemes enhance your organisation's image?
  • Content: are the words and images suitable and structured appropriately for your target audience?
  • Usability: how easy is the site to use and navigate, and is the information you want your target audience to see easy to find?
  • Functionality and interactivity: what can users do on the site and is it appropriate?
  • Marketing focus: does it convey your message and sell your products and services effectively?
  • Speed and access: is the site fast enough and easy for everyone to access?
  • Promotion: how easily is your site found by search engines?

We present our findings and specific recommendations for improvements to you in a report of about 15 pages. The recommendations are for you to consider, prioritise and implement as you see fit.

Why evaluate your website?

An effective website can improve your customer service, broaden your markets, lower costs, improve lead times, enhance marketing initiatives and generally make it easier for people to do business with you. Our report will help you turn your website into a far more valuable business tool.
