Digital advisory engagements are all different because clients are different, industries are different and the digital world moves so quickly new digital solutions and systems are being presented almost weekly. So we tailor our advisory approach to match the client and current digital trends and options.
This simple, high-level approach to working with our clients is a good starting point for determining the optimum approach for any digital advisory engagement.
We enjoy co-designing the approach with clients and then co-developing the final analysis and implementation plan. This helps with knowledge transfer and almost always result in a better outcome for the client. However, a highly collaborative approach doesn’t fit all circumstances.
Understand – the client’s business and current digital activities and maturity
Consult – speak with managers, staff, customers and suppliers
Analyse – collate the findings and discern the key issues, challenges and opportunities
Articulate – draft the analysis in an appropriate media (eg Word, PPT) and seek comment
Present – amend draft analysis and present final version to client
